Apart from that, the theatrical release of many movies is also not confirmed as of yet. Even though the film and television industry is shut down in order to maintain social distancing, reports state that Akshay Kumar shot for a government advertisement with filmmaker R Balki today at Kamalistan studio. According to reports, Alia Bhatt’s film Gangubhai Kathiawadi might be the first to resume shooting post lockdown.

Talking about the shooting of the film resuming post lockdown, he said, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali was already shooting in Filmcity and his set is still there. So the possibility is that his movie will be the first to resume shoot with the necessary precautions, once the permission is granted by CM.” Dubey mentioned that as director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was already shooting in Filmcity, with his set already there, there’s a possibility the film might be first to go on floors after the permission is granted by Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
